Loaded mileage: $2.50 per mile. One-way assist: $12.00. One-way wheelchair: $28.00. One-way Stretcher: $55.00. Extra attendant $15.00. Wait time - $20.00 per hour. Plus allowable fuel surcharge.
Provider Description
This is a Tioga County transportation provider that gives rides to those people who need non-emergency medical transportation. We personally had a chance to meet with this fine group and can honestly say that they are a great group of people and really want to help the community. NOTE: If you are looking to use Medicaid to pay for your transportation you MUST first call First Transit Tioga.
Who Is Eligible
Anyone who needs medical transportation.
Ride Along Description
Ford vans capable of transporting up to 3 wheelchairs, or 1 wheelchair and 1 stretcher.
Chevy Uplander for ambulatory patients; also holds 1 wheelchair.
What is the Service Area
Primarily into or out of Tioga County, NY & Bradford County, PA.
Hours
24 hours a day, 365 days a year
