Pricing
Rates vary by route between $1.00 and $5.00, but most routes within Tioga County are $1.00. Senior citizens and Medicare card holders can ride half fare on all fixed routes, as long as a Medicare card or a Tioga Transport Half Fare Card is shown. To receive information on how to obtain a Half Fare Card, call 607-699-7433. Monthly passes are also available.
Provider Description
Tioga County Area Transit System (Ride Tioga) is a fixed-route transit system that operates Monday through Friday. Hours of services are 5:45 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. Each route is different. Please see individual route guides for route services hours. NO Service on: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Ride Tioga includes services to Candor, Cornell, Dryden, Elmira, Endicott, Ithaca, Newark Valley, Owego, Sayre, Spencer, Vestal, and Waverly. See http://www.tiogacountyny.com/transportation/bus_schedules.php for specific bus schedules.

Handicap Accommodations
If you live within ¾ mile of a fixed route and are unable to get to the bus stop due to a disability, a bus will pick you up curbside. You must call 607-699-7433 at least 24 hours in advance for this service. The fare for Paratransit is double the fixed route fare.
Animal Policy
Only service animals are allowed.
Oxygen Tank Policy
Portable oxygen tanks that can be secured either in a stand or on the rider's lap are allowed.
